About our candles
The porcelain is the part you keep. The shape of the vessel, the illustrations running all the way round it, the weight of the lid in your hand and the fragrance held inside were made together to honour one place, and together they carry you to it. The whole object is the art, and it belongs in a room for as long as you want it there. Lighting it is the ritual. The fragrance fills the room.
The sizes suit different rooms and different moods. The 300g holds a whole room, and refilling it is what keeps it in your home for years rather than months. The 80g is the same porcelain and the same fragrance, complete in itself and illustrated for its place in the same hand. Both vessels are yours to keep, and both go on being beautiful long after the wax is finished. The porcelain was never the packaging.
The wax is natural soy and the wick lead-free cotton, and the packaging around the candle is plastic-free and FSC-certified. When a 300g candle has burned down you refill the vessel, so the porcelain stays where it belongs and only the fragrance is new. The same vessel, year after year. Refill, don’t replace.
