Told London was founded by Lillie and Chris Edgar, driven by a passion to create a sophisticated home fragrance collection that is evocative, sustainable, and a beautiful addition to any space. Inspired by places that hold deep personal significance, each fragrance is a story—woven from Lillie’s love of art, literature, and culture, and shaped by the couple’s shared experiences around the world.
Lillie was born in the Seychelles, spending her childhood between the paradise islands and her grandparents’ home in India. After moving to Scotland to study at the University of Aberdeen, she met Chris, a Northern Irishman whose own travels had fostered a deep appreciation for different cultures. Their shared love of adventure led to a beautiful partnership.
After building successful careers in London, they moved to the Sussex countryside to embrace a slower, more creative way of life—Chris retraining in garden design, Lillie in interiors. Their journey continues, with the family now based in stunning Lake Como, Italy, where their passion for design, storytelling, and fine fragrance continues to flourish.
